If you thought the library was open before, darling, this week the queens set the whole place on fire. It’s roast time, and they’re coming for three of Drag Race’s most infamous icons: Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Kandy Muse, and Plane Jane. Three villains, one hot seat, and absolutely no room for flops.
At Racer Chaser, we don’t just enjoy a good read—we pass out bookmarks.
Main Challenge: The Villains Roast
This week’s maxi challenge handed the girls microphones and dared them to roast three returning legends. By the way, the villains looked sinfully good. With guest judge Whitney Cummings on the panel, the queens had to bring sharp wit, strong timing, and serious confidence.
- Lydia B Kollins finally broke through with her first maxi challenge win, and she didn’t just squeak by. Her roast was polished, punchy, and walked the perfect line between shady and hilarious. The judges were howling, and Lydia walked off with $5,000 and a brand-new storyline.
- Arrietty never quite got her footing. You could practically hear the crickets. Considering that she stole a good bit of material from Jewels, she should’ve been more prepared.
- Jewels Sparkles struggled to find her rhythm. Watching her stolen material bomb right before going on threw Jewels for a loop. When a roast turns into polite silence, you know you’re in trouble.
- Onya Nurve, Sam Star, and Lana Ja’Rae held steady in the middle of the pack. They kept the energy up and dodged the bottom. Safe is better than being so bad that the roastees roast the roaster.
Runway Category: “Who Wears Short Shorts?”
Legs! Style! Quads! This week’s runway asked the queens to give us fashion inspired by the shortest of shorts. It was a full-blown thigh festival.
- Suzie Toot went full queer Shakespeare with puffed shorts and even made slight modifications to her face.
- Lana Ja’Rae channeled a classic Naomi Campbell look that was seens as a cheap knockoff.
- Lexi Love gave body under a whole lot of shredded denim.
- Jewels Sparkles lived in a gorgeous green period pieced.
- Arrietty looked divine in a gold and white ensemble that incorporated religious iconography.
Lip Sync Showdown
After bombing the roast and tripping on the runway theme, Jewels Sparkles and Arrietty were forced to lip sync for their lives to Beyoncé’s “Ya Ya.”
- Jewels lit up on stage, showing the energy and attitude her roast lacked. She connected with the song and gave a performance full of intent.
- Arrietty had a few good moves, but couldn’t quite match the mood or keep pace with the music. It felt like she knew it was her time.
In the end, Jewels Sparkles stayed, and Arrietty was told to sashay away.
Werk Room Watch
Drama flared up when Arrietty accused Jewels of setting her up for failure by choosing a roast lineup that left her dead in the middle. Jewels denied it with the confidence of someone who definitely saw the writing on the cue cards. Meanwhile, Lydia soaked up the love post-win, and the air in the Werk Room got noticeably spikier.
References, Puns & Gags Explained
- “The Villains Roast” – A twist on the classic Drag Race roast. This time, the roasted were literally red with real-world queens known for being shady, unfiltered, or flat-out chaotic in devilish attire. The best part was that they clapped back.
- Red for Filth – Way back in Season 5, Alaska gave the world a fragrance called “Red for Filth” that played with the color red as a homonym for read, the past tense form of the word read. Red is for people who are filth. Read for filth means to tear someone down verbally. Jokes are so much funnier when explained.
- Badonka Dunk – The tank returned thanks to Entertainment Weekly to allow Michelle revenge by dunking the queens.
- Farewell Message – The tradition goes back to Season 2. Some are funny, some are cute, and some are vicious. Arrietty used her parting words to roast Onya Nurve.

Did the Kori Kollins Kai Kai have to die so that Lydia could finally live? Yes! Thank goodness the Werq Room romance finally ended. Kori needed to go episodes ago.
